News hot out of Springfield, Matt Groening has revealed that the Simpsons take on family life is based in Springfield, Oregon. The winner is Oregon.
Being the most common town name in America Groening, when creating the series, Matt had hoped that viewers would imagine it were their Springfield, it worked. Working to well he had never wanted to spoil the illusion for so many, so keeping the secret all these years.
This week also saw the Highpants offices infected by something so annoying it may cause a whole new work from home generation.
Heard for the entire week through-out the Highpants HQ was the ultimate drum and bass remix of the Simpsons theme song.
