Melbourne sports photography company InfinityList have put the slow motion capabilities of the GoPro HD HERO video camera to great use. The two stand out videos have to be Experience Human Flight and Experience Zero Gravity, both are stunning examples of extreme sports shot well.
Experience Human Flight was shot using the GoPro Hero wearable HD video camera. Infinity List enlist the services of five time world champion sky divers Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett. Brought in to help increase the profile of the sport and help train Australian skydivers the opportunity to film the jumps wasn’t passed up. The resulting footage of the jumps over central Victoria in Australia makes great use of the slow motion capture to give the feeling of freedom, weightlessness.
For Experience Zero Gravity InfinityList teams up with base jumpers from The Melbourne Sky Diving Centre to produce this spectacular clip. Filmed in scenic locations in Norway, Switzerland and France capturing the base jumpers leaping from cliffs as high as 6,000 feet. The slow motion footage is as close to the feeling of base jumping as many of us will get, sit back, relax and enjoy that floating feeling.
